| | Model of the car: | Mazda MX-6 LS | | | General comments: | The 2.5L V6 is a gem. Quiet, smooth, and plenty of power. The 5-speed is nice, but shifting from 1st to 2nd is notchy. Good handling and braking. Very sexy lines. Still one of the better looking cars on the road I think.Road noise is a bit excessive. Came with lots of rattles, and took months and numerous (over 10) visits to the shop to sort them all out. But once that was over, it's been very reliable. The paint was bad and the manufacturer paid to get the whole car repainted. Got lucky, the body shop they picked was one of the best I've ever seen.Cockpit is nicely laid out, with easy access to all controls, although the turn signal and wiper controls can get in the way of some dash mounted buttons.
