Mazda MX-6
| | Model of the car: | Mazda MX-6 | | | General comments: | I bought this car about 10,000 Km's ago with low Km's on it. It was good then with the 2.5L V6 KL engine in it. It's even better now that I have the J-Spec KL-ZE. The interior is spot on what I expect from a sports car. While it may be a bit cheap, the way it wraps around you makes you feel in control of the car. The suspension is great in corners, but you do start to feel the road a little too much sometimes. The engine is evenly distributed and moves well at all speeds. I really Mazda had discovered VVT when this car was put out though. Cabin noise is sometimes non exsistant and can easily be drowned out with the sound system that comes with it. All in all, I think this car is a good starter sports car for anybody who loves to drive. Just be sure that you don't get a Lemon. Research! And if you get the chance! J-Spec it! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | 1)Paint life
2)Aftermarket Parts? Quality ones are hard to find (Damn Honda)
3)Premium gas? (Oh please!)
4)No recognition (ricers always want a piece because they think it's a easy win)
5)Canadian winters? A big no no...
6) Rule #1 Never associate yourself with Ford!
7)Brakes are a pain
8)Electical System played games at the start | | | Previous car: | 1993 Honda Civic, 1999 Honda Accord, 1999 Hyundai Tiburon |
